October Gig Guide

We’re welcoming some extremely talented new faces, and some equally as impressive familiar faces too! A mixture of youth, experience and ticketed events has never made the month of October look so good in the realms of O’Donoghues Friday night entertainment!

Kicking us off on the 6th of October, we’re welcoming O’Donoghues newbie, Tamika Jai and her wonderful band to the beer garden stage. She’s an extremely talented artist who’ll be bringing her typical incredible mix of RnB, Jazz and Soul to the table, something we’ve never seen at O’Donoghues in recent years. A real eye catcher, and an act not to be missed!

Another brand new act will be bringing the heat on the 13th of October. Heard of the The Cherry Bombers? You may not have, but I can guarantee you won’t forget them after watching them cut loose on stage. They’re a local band who’ve been around the traps for some years, but are making their inaugural appearance on the 13th. They’re a party band at heart, and will be playing a variety of styles from classic rock, all the way through to your reggae favourites! I know i’ve said it before, but you don’t want to miss this one.

For all you hardcore classic rock fans, have we got a treat for you! We’re welcoming Cold Chisel tribute band Swingshift, and their typical high energy show to the O’Donoghues for the first time on the 20th of October. In stark contrast to both the acts previously described, the raw Aussie rock tribute band are guaranteed to rock your proverbial socks off. Strap yourself in for a night of Khe Sanhs, Bow Rivers and definitely some Flame Trees, because it’s going to be HUUUGE.

Finally we’re hosting our 2nd ticketed event in the last two months with the Never Ending 80’s Cover show kicking off their state tour at O’Donoghues on the 27th. After selling out our pre sale allocation, we’ll be taking sales on the door from 5pm! It’ll be a guaranteed night of all your favourite 80’s tracks, some ridiculous outfits and dancing. Get excited!
