Here at O’Donoghues, we have brought out an exciting new menu! The idea for this menu was to create a good quality pub selection. Today we sit down with our head chef Josh Matherson, aka “The Bloke”, who is the brain behind the menu!
Josh has been cooking up a storm for over 22 years now. He has worked alongside some very well-known prominent Australian and International Chefs at Rockpool Bar and Grill.
His favourite NEW menu item is the Southern chicken dippers and Hickory BBQ bourbon wings. Josh says their “Sweet, salty, savoury, messy. A great combination with a few cold beers.”

When we asked Josh what makes our new menu so special, he said “We offer our patrons great classic pub food, we do it well, and we put our own signature mark on it. We pride ourselves on having great knowledge of food, so our patrons get the best dining experience”.
The chef’s new menu suggestion is our new Buddha Bowl. “It’s a great dish with big flavours, textures, filling. It’s vegetarian and vegan-friendly. You can add protein too. It’s a great healthy option that everyone can enjoy.”
